The User Settings dialog displays the configuration values stored in the user.config file on the WIB™ Unit device. It is accessible to sysadmins only via the Administration Menu.
To open the User Settings dialog, click Settings in the Administration Menu.
The dialog is organized into three sections:
User Settings displays a scrollable list of all configuration parameters and their current values. These settings control camera assignments, capture behavior, folder paths, window positions, session state, and device hardware identifiers.
Folders displays the file system paths used by the Capture Program for scanner input and session archiving:
- Scanner — the watched folder from which the photo pipeline reads captured images
- Archive — the local storage path for archived session data
Location displays the physical address, latitude, and longitude registered to the WIB™ Unit device. This information is used for session metadata and reporting.
Note: All settings are preconfigured by Radix Data at the time of installation. Do not modify any values in this dialog. Incorrect settings can cause the Capture Program to malfunction. If a setting appears incorrect or a value needs to be changed, contact Radix Data support.
Click OK to save changes and close the dialog. Click Cancel to discard any changes and close.
