Section 7.3 Export Report Schedules

Section 7.3 Export Report Schedules

Accessing Export Report Schedules

Navigate to Reports > Export Report Schedules. The page lists all schedules configured for the workspace.

The grid contains the following columns:

  • Name — The schedule name. Click to open the schedule detail page.
  • Report Type — The report type the schedule runs against (for example, ReconciliationReport, DataExtractionReport).
  • Schedule — The human-readable description of the CRON expression (for example, At 12:00 AM, every day).
  • Enabled — Indicates whether the schedule is active (true) or inactive (false).
  • Date Created — The date and time the schedule was created.

The grid does not support column filtering. If no schedules have been configured, the grid displays No records available.

Creating a Schedule

Click Create in the top-right corner of the page. The Create Export Report Schedule form opens.

Complete the following fields:

  • Enabled — Check to activate the schedule immediately upon saving. Uncheck to save the schedule in a disabled state. Schedules can be enabled or disabled at any time after creation.
  • Name — A display name for the schedule.
  • Description — Optional. A description of the schedule's purpose.
  • CRON Expression — The schedule's recurrence pattern in CRON format. A human-readable description of the expression (for example, At 12:00 AM, every day) appears below the field and updates as you type. For CRON syntax reference, see Section 13.3 Schedule a Report Export.
  • Report Type — The report type to run on this schedule. The dropdown lists only report types the current user has permission to access.
  • Filter — Optional. Paste a filter string copied from the report's page to apply a filter to the scheduled export.
  • Email Recipients — Optional. One or more workspace users to notify when the export completes.
  • Export Targets — Optional. One or more export destinations configured in Section 13.5 Set Export Destination. Selected targets display as pills in the field.

Click Save to create the schedule, or Cancel to discard.

Viewing and Editing a Schedule

Click a schedule name in the list to open its detail page. The detail page displays all fields for the schedule: Enabled, Name, Description, Report Type, Schedule, Filter, Date Created, Email Recipients, and Targets. Empty fields display the label with no value beneath it. Targets display as plain text on the detail page.

Click Edit to open the schedule in the same form used for creation, with existing values pre-populated. Modify any fields and click Save to apply changes.

Deleting a Schedule

On the schedule detail page, click Delete. The schedule is deleted immediately without a confirmation prompt.

How Scheduled Exports Run

When a schedule runs, the resulting export appears in Section 7.2 Exported Reports with a Status of Completed. The Type column displays the internal report type string (for example, ReconciliationReport, ImageQualityAnalysisReport).

Note: Access to Export Report Schedules requires the Export Report Schedule permission in Section 12.5 Security Policy.
