Selecting Re-process will process the session and/or box(es) through the photo pipeline. Navigate to the sessions grid by selecting the Collection, then the session(s), and then Re-process. These are the same steps an administrator will take to update the records after a Taxonomy change. To re-process a specific box or boxes, continue the process and select a session, then the box or boxes within the session, and then Re-process.
After selecting Re-process, the Re-process Session Boxes confirmation dialog opens and asks whether to re-process the selected box(es). Selecting Yes starts the operation, and No cancels.
By default, re-processing sends each box back through the photo pipeline while retaining its position in the workflow, so previously completed workflow stages are not repeated and the operator does not need to redo work already finished. The AI functions enabled for the collection are not re-run automatically. They run during re-processing only when the operator selects Re-run AI features.
Selecting Re-run AI features re-runs the enabled AI functions for the collection, including where their stage is already complete. On the Re-process action, this re-runs the AI functions that occur before Identify Forms in the workflow stepper. When no workflow is assigned to the collection, selecting Re-run AI features re-runs the entire AI pipeline instead. This option is independent of Reset workflow status flags. Either checkbox can be selected on its own.
Note: Because the AI functions incur charges, selecting Re-run AI features re-incurs those charges for the affected box(es).
Selecting Reset workflow status flags clears the Quality Control and Verification workflow status for the affected boxes. Depending on the collection's workflow and prior QC progress, the boxes may be sent back to Quality Control or Verification, or marked export-ready. When this option is selected, the operator must also confirm I understand the workflow status will be reset before Yes becomes available.
Note: Resetting the workflow status can return a session to the In Progress status. See Section 11.1.1.3 Sessions for the session status values.
After confirming the Re-process action, the Reprocess Boxes Progress dialog opens to show the status of the operation. The dialog tracks the total number of boxes selected and displays running counts for boxes that are complete, failed, or in progress, along with a per-box status row listing each box's identifier and current state.
The dialog can be closed at any time using the X in the top-right corner; reprocessing continues running in the background. A Close button appears when all boxes have completed (succeeded or failed) and dismisses the dialog.
Note: Triggering Re-process on a different selection while reprocessing is already running opens a new progress dialog for that selection. The existing reprocessing operation continues unaffected.
