Uninstall Document Cameras (Steps 12 -14)


Step 12 – Unplug and pack the Document Camera Cords

Unplug the Document Camera Cords from the standard and stadium document cameras. Roll the cords and place them in Layer 2 of the Foam Packing tray with the Main Power and Ethernet Cords.

Step 13 – Remove the Stadium Document Camera Mounting Base from the Support Arm

Lower the Camera arm until the camera is resting against the control post of the Support Arm. Loosen the 3/16” Hex Cap Screw of the Base Brace with the 3/16” hex key (White) but do not completely remove the screw. Begin loosening the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin using the handle. Continue to loosen both the Hex Cap Screw and the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin alternating between them until the Foam Packing Tray can be used as a shelf to support the Stadium Document Camera. Be careful you do not disassemble the Handle from the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin. Finish unscrewing both the Head Pin and Hex Screw until the Base Mounting Arm can be removed. Store the Document Camera in Layer 2 of the Foam Packing Tray. Please refer to the optional step to reassemble Dowel Pin in the Handle to the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin if the Handle is removed.

Step 14 – Remove Standard Document Camera Mounting Base from the Support Arm

Lower the Camera arm until the camera is resting against the control post of the Support Arm. Loosen the 3/16” Hex Cap Screw of the Base Brace with the 3/16” hex key (White) but do not completely remove the screw. Begin loosening the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin using the handle. Continue to loosen both the Hex Cap Screw and the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin alternating between them until the Foam Packing Tray can be used as a shelf to support the Standard Document Camera. Be careful you do not disassemble the Handle from the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin. Finish unscrewing both the Head Pin and Hex Screw until the Base Mounting Arm can be removed. Swivel the Base of the Document Camera so that the camera and the base can be stored in Layer 2 of the Foam Packing Tray. Place the Base Brace with the screws in the same compartment as the camera. Please refer to the optional step to reassemble Dowel Pin in the Handle to the Dual Threaded Flat Head Pin if the Handle is removed.
