Reports

The Reports Page is like the dashboard but for managers not the general user. A manager can build custom reports and create a custom dashboard view for a project and/or collection of records. Each report is then added to the page as a tile layout component  on the Reports Page. Managers can create and save different report pages which appear as an item in the navigation tree. The report pages can be distributed as dashboards to users, groups, or roles.

Section 7.1    List of Available Reports

Each available report is listed in the Reports menu. Select the report to view the content.

Section 7.2   Export Reports

Users with access can download the report from the Export Reports menu when a report is exported or if it is generated on a schedule.

Reports will retain filters, sorting, and pagination (items per page) when creating an export manually from the specific report grid.  

Section 7.3   Create an Export Schedule for Reports

Users with access can schedule the export of reports. Name the Schedule, provide a description (Optional), create the CRON Expression, select the Report type, enable the Schedule, and provide email recipients (Optional).

Section 7.3.1                  CRON Expressions

The CRON expression is made up of five (5) fields. Each field can have the following values:

Section 7.4    Set Export Destination or Target

Export Destinations allows for pushing export packages to AWS S3 buckets, Azure Storage Blobs, and/or an FTP Site. The automation/scheduling of exports requires a destination definition. Each destination type (AWS, Azure, FTP etc.) has requirements that are presented when setting up a connection.

Section 7.4.1                  Create Export Destination

Export targets allow for a custom destination for the export package to be saved.

Section 7.4.1.1              Name

Name the export destination in a manner that is standardized and allows for sorting and/or quickly identifying the destination definition. For example, including the repository in the Name will allow for sorting the Export destinations. Keep the Name short and leverage the description for more detailed information.

Section 7.4.1.2             Description (Optional)

Describe the destination in a manner that gives another user a detailed enough description to determine the content. This expands on the name and allows for more detailed information about the content.

Section 7.4.1.3             Type

There are three (3) destination types, AWS, Azure, FTP. If you require a different destination type, contact us at support@radixdata.com
and request a new destination.

Section 7.4.1.3.1                 AWS S3 Bucket

Enter the Access Key Id, Secret Access Key, Region Name, and Bucket Name for the S3 Bucket.

Section 7.4.1.3.1.1                         Bucket Name & Region

The Name and Region are assigned when creating an S3 Bucket. Contact your IT Department for assistance with the name and region for the S3 Bucket if you are not creating the Bucket yourself.

Section 7.4.1.3.1.2                        Access Key Id & Secret Access Key

This information is found under the account/Security credentials. Create a key if one does not exist.

Section 7.4.1.3.2                 AWS Sub-directory Path

Set the path to sub-directories in the Path field. The export will go to the patch specified.
